A residential house is a detached building with a garage which is separated by passage leading to the garden in a slightly sloping terrain with two above-ground floors and one underground floor. The house partly contains a cellar under the ground. The house contains a gabled roof.

In my thesis, I pursue the possibility of using EU funds for financing a project that is primarily focused on education and providing information. The project is submitted by a real non-profit organization and it might be eligible for EU funds support. It deals with enhancing the quality of life in countryside, which should be reached via more effective and perfect access to the up-to-date information. The purpose of this thesis is to create a successful, high-quality educational project with regard to material and financial side of things.

An Analysis of the current situation on opened operation programs and selecting the most suitable operation program for realization. The main goal of diploma thesis is to prepare records, which will be submitted as background for endowment institution with a focus on the feasibility study and cash flow analysis. Analysis of the current situation in region, demographic trends and gross domestic product. Analysis of investment in the project and a breakdown in the implementation stage. Analysis of competition, SWOT analysis, marketing mix, risks on project and backgrounds for croquet playground sustainability.

Safety inspections in region Vysocina

This thesis presents a safety inspection in selected places in the Vysocina region of the Czech Republic. Six intersections in rural and municipal areas, plus three rural road sections were selected for the inspection and an accident rate analysis. The places selected were compared in terms of the accident rate and one case of each group was then selected for a detailed safety inspection encompassing visual inspection and identification of possible hazards. By eliminating such safety hazards, it is possible to ensure a traffic fluency and to preclude traffic accidents or at least minimize the harm caused by it.

Analýza struktury obyvatelstva kraje Vysočina

The subject of the bachelor's study is to make an analysis of the structure of the inhabitants for region Vysočina in years 2003 to 2013. During this observed period the following demographic indicators were analysed: number of the population, gender, age, education, family state, religion and economic activity. The future progress to the year 2016 was predicted for some indicators. The prognosis was made with the method of balancing of time lines through the appropriate trend function. On the basis of the analysis done was found, that there is a gradual decrease in the number of the inhabitants in region Vysočina. The post-reproduction component has still a bigger representation in the population than pre-reproduction component and thus it comes up to the aging of the population. In total women have a higher representation than men in Vysočina. Further it arises from the analysis, that there is an increase in the number of the people with higher finished graduation, divorced and unemployed people.

The bachelor thesis „Selected aspects of the development of the Vysočina region“ is focused on development of Vysočina region. The bachelor thesis focuses on development in three areas of development – economic, social and evironmental. From these areas are selected specific representatives as aspects of regional development. The evaluation describe the following aspects of development: gross domestic product, research, development and innovation, economic aktivity, unemployment, wage development, demographic situation and social evolution, education, healthcare, transport infrastructure, tourism, and finally environment. The evaluation is followed by a recommendations to the region for further development of the region.

Awareness of seniors in the Vysočina region in the field of population protection

This diploma thesis examines the awareness of seniors in the Vysočina Region in the area of population protection. The thesis is divided into two basic parts, namely the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is a brief development of population protection from 1935 to the present. The main part deals with the main tasks of population protection and the integrated rescue system. The thesis is focused on the Vysočina Region and therefore there is a chapter devoted to the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant and its emergency planning zone. Furthermore, the work is devoted to seniors and their education in cooperation with the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, the Police of the Czech Republic and the Rescue Circle Association. Using a questionnaire survey and methods of mathematical and descriptive statistics, it was found that the awareness of seniors does not reach even 70% and also that the awareness of seniors in homes for the elderly is statistically significantly lower than that of seniors who do not live in homes for the elderly. The benefit of the diploma thesis is primarily the obtained overview of the state of awareness of seniors in the Vysočina Region about the protection of the population. The obtained results can be used as an information material or as a source for creating educational presentations for the elderly in homes for the elderly.
